Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater seeks professional and energetic candidates for its temporary part-time Company Management Assistant position.  The Company Management Assistant will assist the Company Management Team to meet the production and operational needs of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment are necessary for this position. Candidates from non-traditional backgrounds with a passion for the arts are encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities include:


  • Assist in coordinating travel for all visiting artists.
  • Assist in coordinating and maintaining housing for all visiting artists in company apartments and hotels.
  • Assist in arranging repairs, cleanings, and utility services in apartments as needed.
  • Attend to the requests, needs and questions of visiting artists as directed.
  • Assist in preparing, processing, monitoring and administering artist contracts.
  • Assist in other duties to the Production Office as assigned by the Company Management Team & Senior Director of Operations.


Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable transporting visiting artists in company vehicle. Must have the ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.

This position is a temporary part time position thru early summer. It will require approximately 25-30 hours per week, mostly on weekdays during the hours of 10am-6pm. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
